Facility
American Business College is a very modern facility. It is spacious and provides a good climate for student learning. In addition to what the college offers students, noted below, ABC is located near anything a student would need. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, a hospital, and many stores. It is also a short walk to downtown, however students may opt to take the Vancouver Sky Train or the bus system, minutes away from the college. Using these inexpensive sources of transportation students can also visit BC Place, The Downtown Vancouver Library, GM Place, Stanley Park, many world famous theaters, museums and much more.
ABC has an up-to date computer lab/language lab. Classes use the space to better their English in the ESL Program and study the world of computers in the College Program. Students also may use the lab during break times for their own usage, whether that be to surf the net, email, or to do course work.

Housing
Students may choose to reside in Vancouver by using our Homestay Program (living with a Canadian family). This is very advantageous for someone visiting Vancouver for the first time, especially if he/she is here to learn English. However, other arrangements can be made by talking to our Academic Advisor. Activities
American Business College prides itself on the activities it offers its students. The college, which tries to provide a family atmosphere in the school, offers one school wide activity once a month. ABC's Activities Director carefully selects these activities by researching what is unique and seasonal. In regards to the school wide activity, students may do things like, go snowboarding or skiing in Whister, go to the Opera at the Orpheum theater, or take in the sites of Granville Island.
ABC also offers many extra curricular activities to its students. These types of activities include, art classes, film and television study, conversation clubs, choir and dance, and games. Plus, via the ABC Student Association students may be offered the opportunity to take part in other student selected activities.
In addition to the above, ABC's students are always kept up-to-date in reference to what's happening around Vancouver. Thus students can make educated choices as to what to do with their free time while visiting the city. ABC also brings in various tour groups occasionally which offer students trips, such as The Rocky Mountains.
